Pups ready to go, when is this exactly?

In my experience as a dog breeder, this is a delicate balance,

Some pups wean sooner than others

So the law states a pup can legally be sold at 8 weeks, the dog laws,

This is because at 7.5 weeks the front teeth come down and that means mummy won’t want to feed a pup that has those baby sharp teeth,

That doesn’t mean the pup is fully weaned,

If you go for a naturally weaned pup like the pups at designer pups by Annabel,

Then the date for leaving depends on the puppy it could be any where from 8.5 weeks old to 13 weeks old.

We can judge this easily by their poop.

My pups start eating dry kibble along side their mums as young as 3/4 weeks old, the kibble is there and readily available and

They will also have mummy feed them.

We add water to the kibble, we use royal canin starter and mini puppy.

As a licenced dog breeder, we are hounded off gumtree and hounded on line

But guess what, we are not pushing our pups out the door as soon as they become 8 weeks old

Because, we want our pups to do well,

As licenced dog breeders this is our job,

It is our job to make sure every single pup that leaves us, leaves us ready to move home!

Isn’t this wonderful to be this invested in your future dog? To work tirelessly for your future puppy.

Our first priority is the pup, is it ready to leave? Can it settle in with out mummy and the litter mates?

Bring a blanket to rub on mummy, as well.

Keep on the same kibble at least for the first month.

Chat with us, we want what’s best for you and what’s best for the puppy.

Some mums want their babies to take milk for longer and some wean younger; this is where I m in constant observation mode, constantly checking and watching their developement.

I think that’s this subject covered, if you have any genuine questions for me, or any thing I haven’t covered in regards whwn a pup is really able to leave mummy and litter and us, please drop me a text to what’s app 07484222638

Thank you for getting your puppy from us.
